OH my goodness! That turquoise T-Bird got me right off. I loved the look of that car. I once dated a guy who drove one just like that. He had a huge St. Bernard ("Heidi") who took up what was available for a bit of a back seat. When he'd drive down the road all you could see was Heidi's big head sticking out the window on one side, and the fellow had kind of shaggy (60's style) blond hair sticking out the the other side. It was a comical sight. I didn't date him long, however. He wasn't my type, but I sure loved his car. LOL! I didn't get to go to kindergarten. Not available where we lived in PA at the time, and then we moved to Florida when I started 1st grade. My mother was my kindergarten teacher...she taught me everything I needed to know. LOL. And yes, that car ride from Florida to Ohio is a long one. I've made it MANY times in my life, to visit our grandparents in Ohio after we moved to Florida, and my dad took a different route through the mountains every time (before interstate highways) so we could go camping in the different state parks along the way. Very wonderful memories. Then when my hubby decided to go to seminary in Ohio, we moved there from Florida, and made many trips back and forth to Florida from there and from several churches that we ended up pastoring in Ohio. Yes, I know that trip well. Thanks for reminding me. Have a blessed and happy Sunday! You gave me some things to think about this morning so bright and early at 6 a.m. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI've never been on a Zoom meeting. We've done NJ to FL a few times and NJ to MO once. Both were long.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
It would take me a while to put my thoughts into all those questions. I didnt go to kindergarten; my best friend is a cousin by marriage and we have been there for each other for over 50 years. The farthest I have driven is to Seattle, Washington from Maine on a trip Jim and I took many years ago. Hope you have a good Monday.
ReplyDeleteI love fried Okra, grin. Let's see, San Diego to Fl was the longest---prob Upstate NY to Alabama next then back to Upstate NY...anyways, have a great day friend. smiles
ReplyDeleteI've always hated my feet, too. They've always seemed long for my height, but rather than being wide, they were always very narrow and I had trouble finding shoes to fit for that reason. Now that the arches have fallen they've widened out to average width, but they've gotten longer yet. I usually refer to my shoe size as "canoe." Oh well, as my grandfather used to say of them, they keep me from tipping over! Have a great day, Terri!
ReplyDeleteLOL, Stacy. I call mine battleships! My grandpa used to tell me that you can't build a castle on a foundation only it for a chicken coop!
DeleteFIT for a chicken coop...
DeleteAgree 1000% with "A"! High-five to Joe for today's best answer. :) Have a beautiful day, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteI love fried okra, but I was raised on it. My grandparents grew okra in their garden.
ReplyDeleteThat car is gorgeous! Loved your answers. Have a nice day!

Great answers today, Terri! And I'm with you about God being in control, no matter what.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I love Joes answer! I bet you would say the same about him. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the Dr Pol show but would like to see it. He's from Michigan you know! :)
I agree on Okra!
We love Dr. Pol! Joe and I both say we are probably qualified to be Vet Techs. I think I could pull a calf in an emergency! LOL
DeleteGood answers, Terri. I especially like the "no regrets" reply.
ReplyDeleteBut I want to know, how does one take such a good selfie of the back of their head????
It wasn't a selfie... I just took a regular photo and hoped for the best! LOL
DeleteI have never even tried okra, so I don't know if I love it or hate it!
ReplyDeleteI don't have big feet, but I certainly do have a big backside and I hate it!
