Friday Fotos...

Joe and I made it to the farm (his client) on Wednesday.  As promised, I have pictures, even though it was a gray, misty, and very COLD day.

There were cattle going in this week... but not on the lane.

The Macaws got carrots and you can actually see them...

My three buddies all got carrots. Doc, Vanna, and Majesty.

I saved a few treats for the goats.

Mallow (Cockatoo) got a carrot too.

The view was still pretty but gray and cold.

I stayed in the office for the last hour or so and Arya sat on my lap and got treats.

Now for the coolest thing!!  I don't know why this baby was in a kennel and there was no one
handy to ask, but I got to pet her!!  I got to pet a calf!!  She wasn't afraid and seemed to
like having me stroke her soft fur.  I was just so happy!! I got to pet a calf!!

And there were more cattle around on our way out...

That was our time at the farm.  Elaine and Jim (and maybe Bella) will go with us next week!

We had dinner with our Thursday night dinner group last night.  Always fun.

Peace & hugs!  Jesus loves you!

  1. Peaceful scenes from the farm. Yes, that day was dreary here, too, and I struggled with that.

I'm reminded of the old song, Heavenly Sunshine, "flooding my soul with glory divine." We need not only the physical sunshine outdoors but the light of God's Presence in our lives. May today be brighter for all of us.

  7. We love to sit on our porch at Grimmwood and watch our Brother in Law's cows in the field in front of us. Those baby calves running and leaping just makes me feel better about the world. Are you and Joe watching All Creatures Great and Small?

    1. I buy a huge bag of carrots that are irregular and not too expensive. I think they are packaged for juicing but I take advantage!

I was telling hubby and son the other day when we move back south, my blood is so thick now, I'll have to get use to the humidity again, sigh. lol ---oh wait, is that thin? I don't know...regardless, I am use to the cold now. lolol

  12. Love all these pictures!

Yes, the cold in Florida!! I was so glad to see that it will be warming up later this week. Destiny and Alex gave unreliable heat in their new little home, and I feel so sorry for them.
