Home Sweet Home
Welcome to Tuesday 4, inspired and kept up in memory of Toni Taddeo.
This week, let's talk about home.
1. Do you like the way your home is decorated or would you tweak
things a bit if budget allowed? I would tweak if we had the budget.
2.. Do you have any plans/dreams to change anything about your
home? Yes, I would like to update both bathrooms and the kitchen but right now it is just a dream. What we have look okay and are functional.
3. What style of furniture do you have or want to have in
your home and why? We bought new living room and dining room furniture when we moved to this house three years ago. We purchased with the intent to keep it forever and are happy with what we got. All three bedrooms are a hodgepodge of pieces and styles. I suppose it would be nice to have matching furniture in the bedrooms but, again, we are blessed to have what we have!
4. Tell
us about your ideal dream house or dream kitchen if you prefer. Since we can't redecorate right now, I really haven't given this much thought. I know my dream refrigerator would be this one...
But... the cost of this refrigerator is the same amount we would pay for a kitchen full of appliances! A girl can dream!!
Thanks for coming by today! I hope you have a good Tuesday!
Peace & hugs!! God bless!!

Love the freezer on the bottom. Why did it take so long for folks to come up with this good idea? :)
ReplyDeleteYears ago refrigerators were made
Deletewith freezers on the bottom.(Boy,
this shows my age LOL).
Now freezers on the bottom have
come back.
That refrigerator is my dream frig, too. I looked at it when our old one died two years ago, but as you said...the price! I ended up getting a really good deal on a different one, but still a fancy one through a series of mistakes and then Lowe's making good on their end with a better frig for the promised price. Lowe's has always been very good about that for us. They once gave us $100 store credit just because we had to wait a long time to be waited on!
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun one and loved your answers. Have a good day, Terri!
Matching furniture would be nice.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Has it been 3 yrs Terri? Wow! Hey, we have the French door refrig. with one drawer-ours is white. Listen to this, we got it for only $700!!! Why? Because it was scratched and dented. Hubby buffed it all out and now, you can't even tell.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day friend, waving to Joe...so wish I could join you on your carport, grin.
WOW, now that is a refrigerator. I just wish everything here was in place now...lol
ReplyDeleteYes, a girl can dream :)

Terri, like you I would like a new fridge....very similar to the one you showed. I am happy with most things in my house but I would like to replace the builder grade appliances. We have lived here 11 years now and they could use an update.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a refrigerator! I am struggling with having just one refrigerator since we moved. I've always had two...one in the kitchen for the basic stuff, and another for big things like extra vegetables, beverages, and the freezer space. I am trying to adjust to just the one, but it frustrates me when I see a good deal on things I'd like to buy extra of to freeze or whatever. Oh well, we just need to learn to "live within our means". As far as furniture goes...we have mostly family "heirlooms" that are very old. I have often wished I could update some things, but then I know I'd miss the history and character of what we have. Nothing really matches, but it all has a story, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it! LOL. Have a blessed day my friend.
ReplyDeleteI love my home just the way it is!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Terri!
Yes, we can dream!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to have new kitchen cabinetry -- but not enough that I'm willing to part with the $$$. Our furnishings are definitely hodgepodge, but I love the homey feel.
ReplyDelete'Still giving serious thought to investing in one of those Tempur-Pedic mattress sets like yours.
It is definitely an investment, Myra, but we love ours.
DeleteI have much to be grateful for, so like you I am pretty content. One can always find something else, but I am good. That refrigerator is pretty snazzy.
ReplyDeleteThe photo at the top of this post is really cute. I'd like to live there!
ReplyDeleteTerri, thank you so much for the downlow on the Savory yeast flakes! Wow that refrigerator looks pretty fancy. I've seen ones online that have a computer iPad thing on the front. I'm fine with just one that works! We have a hodgepodge of furniture too and I don't mind at all! :-)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers. It seems like we all
ReplyDeletewould like to change something.
Have a great day.
Your dream refrigerator is mine too! But I can't afford it either.
ReplyDeleteYes, everything is so expensive! We do not really have a budget to re-decorate either. Loved your answers! Have a nice week.
