Winter Questions
Our host is Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". .
Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The
Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the
blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most
interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!
How do you get past the gray skies during winter? We don't have gray skies in Florida very often!
Do you like snow? Why or why not? I don't like snow at all and don't care to see it ever again! Too cold, too hard to drive in, I hate shoveling snow and cleaning off the car before going anywhere!
What are your favorite activities to do during the winter? Go to the beach. Cook on the grill. Sit outside enjoying the weather!
What does a perfect winter day look like to you? 78°, sunny, no humidity.
What are your favorite meals/food you enjoy eating during the winter? If it is cool, chili is good.
What is your favorite winter holiday and why? I don't really have a "favorite". Any day in Florida, in the winter, is a holiday!
What is your favorite pizza flavor and toppings? Thin crust, pepperoni, mushrooms, hot peppers.
What are some items in your daily bag/ backpack? Wallet, phone, chapstick, plus way too much other junk! LOL
Your favorite snacks. Salty... usually chips or pretzels.
Some foreign countries that you would like to visit? Italy again; Scotland; Ireland; Germany
What things remind you of home? My childhood home? Weldon's Ice Cream; Buckeye Lake; the Sweet Corn Festival...
If you have one, some items from your Amazon Wishlist? The new Keurig K-Duo coffee pot and a new sewing machine.

What was your favorite Christmas gift? The cross necklace I got from Joe.
We are off to Sunday school and church this morning and then our day is free. We had Helen and Cheryl over last night for dinner. I did baked chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, lima beans, a salad, and cherry pie with ice cream for dessert. We were all full. There are leftovers for today!
Thanks for your visit! Peace & hugs! God bless!!

Being from 'snow country', I know you enjoy the Florida weather and rightly so. You dinner sounds so good. Enjoy SS and church. Sending love and hugs.
ReplyDeleteThe older I get the more I dislike cold weather and snow. Your dinner sounds yummy. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteOh but those Florida Summers LOL . :) .
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of snow as well Terri so it is good I live in Alabama where it seldom comes to my door. As one reader said, Those summers. But as southerners we get used to the heat. I guess it is like the northerners are used to the cold. As long as my AC is working I am ok. lol But as for gray skies we have had plenty of those in January. Hoping February is sunnier.
ReplyDeleteExactly! Summer here is all about our AC!!
DeleteYummmmmmmmm cherry pie and ice-cream, smiles. Well, you know I live in snow country, grin. Have a great day friend.
ReplyDeleteAnything salty/savory is my 'go-to' as well. Have y'all tried "Sure Shot" Sid's Gunpowder seasoning? Our pastor's are staying at Redington Beach this weekend; their photos look darn inviting!
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard of Sure Shot but will go looking!
DeleteI am with you with the cold weather - snow and sun. We are both lucky to live in the south!
ReplyDeleteLeftovers -- such a blessing when we don't want to cook. We have some good ones in our 'fridge right now.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your leftovers, they sound wonderful! Loved your answers! Have a nice day!

We are doing leftovers tonight, too, Terri! Hope you had a wonderful Sunday, my friend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I must admit that your weather answers make me jealous. It's been cloudy, and just dreary here. I said to Bob as we were driving to church this morning that everything is black, white and gray. I'm ready for some color again!
ReplyDeleteYour supper sounds wonderful!
Come on down!! Would love to have you visit!!
DeleteWell, minus the "hot" peppers your pizza is my pizza! And salty snacks are the only snacks worth eating. lol I enjoyed your answers and seeing how similar our answers were again. Have a blessed week, Terri!
ReplyDeleteI agree on your prefect temperature. I don't like cold at all and snow is prettier in pictures:)
