Tickled Tuesday...

We were tickled that our old neighbors, Bob & Ginny, got back from their get-away yesterday afternoon and stopped by our house on their way home to drop off some sweet bread from Tarpon Springs.  Joe's favorite treat.  The Greek sweet bread is very much like his mom's Italian Easter bread.  How nice of them to do that for us!  I only took care of their cats Sunday night and Monday morning. It was no big deal.  We are blessed with such good people in our lives.

Other than that, the next most exciting thing that happened was getting the mail!  Our hearts beat a little faster when we see the black and white checkered flag that indicates the mail is up!  (Giggle.)  We are collecting mail for two of our neighbors while they are gone, so we juggle keys and mail.  Keeping some for one in a bag in the car and some for the other in a box in the car. Most of our mail and most of theirs is junk mailers these days. Tickled to help them all out!!

And now, perhaps a tickle or two to make you giggle...

Thanks for your visit on this Tuesday, July 3rd.  Be blessed!!  Peace & hugs.

  4. Love that checkered flag idea.

And the phone booth, isn't it funny how people sitting in a stall seem to not realize the rest of us can hear their conversation???

  9. I can't decide what's my favorite … the 'phone booth' or the mail flag. That's (flag) a wonderful idea to signal residents!

  12. Our mail is so not exciting anymore. Junk fliers is about it. Sam has the craziest stories about delivering mail. It's a pretty horrible job. I talked to our mail lady one day about days off. She said they get their schedule for the next week on Thursday, and the week starts on Saturday! It's so hard to plan ahead. And she's been working for the postal service for 27 years!

That phone booth comic is the best!!!!
