Tickled Tuesday....


I am TICKLED to be home from the hospital this evening (writing this on Monday night).  Our fun day in Ocala, meeting blogging friend Barb and her Beloved (Tom) was put on hold due to my concern for some heaviness in my chest and back that scared me enough to ask Joe to take me to the emergency room, at midnight.

I had been admitted and was finally in a room by 5:00 a.m. (Monday morning).  I sent Joe home to get some sleep. 

Lots of blood work, x-rays, ultrasounds and a stress test later, they determined that I am fit as a fiddle and let me go home at 6:00 p.m.  We have no idea what caused my discomfort, but I am happy knowing that my innards are doing okay! LOL

We are already working on a new date to meet Barb and Tom!!  I'll keep you posted!!

    So relieved!
    I had similar sensations a few weeks ago, but took my BP, swallowed a couple baby aspirin and sucked it up. I've no history of heart problems, but my primary gave me a little vial of nitro last year that I carry everywhere.
    Isn't that cold clench of fear awful?

      They slapped a nitro-patch on me in the ER and it gave me a horrid headache! Wasn't necessary so I guess that's why it effected me that way. Yes, the fear is no fun at all!

    So glad you are okay. That had to be scary. Glad you went to the ER even if they didn't find anything. That is exactly what we'd hope to find! Nothing!! Praise God.
