Monday Morning Meme
Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. You may have heard the expression, “honor among thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from, if possible. We also provide a link to the victim's questions in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from recently asked questions from a previous post. Cheers to all of us thieves!
We stole this from Phoenix the Blogging Mama , who stole it from Karen, who made up the questions herself.
1. How has your life most benefitted from the Internet? Whether it’s meeting people, cutting business overhead, finding rare collectibles, or simply sharing funny cat pictures, share how the web has made life easier. I really don't think this question needs much of an explanation. The internet has made all of those things mentioned so much easier. Amazon.com has made Christmas shopping SO easy! I don't go out shopping for much of anything anymore. It comes right to my door....no crowds, no looking for a parking place, etc.
2. How do you deal with negative comments on your blog? It has been a long time since I had a negative comment on my blog, so long that I don't really remember when it was or what it was about.
3. There’s never enough time, is there? No, even when you are retired. What would you do with an extra three hours today? I really don't want three extra hours today.
4. The getaway car is waiting outside – where is it taking you? To Tarpon Springs for the day. I would like to visit the spice shop and the garden flag store.
5. Who was your "arch enemy" in high school? Do you have any enemies today? Sorry, I don't think I've ever had an arch enemy and I don't have any today either. If I do, I sure don't know who they are. I hope not!
6. You’re giving the keynote address to the graduating seniors of a high school today. What’s your advice to them? Be true to yourself and save money.
7. Thinking of words of wisdom: What's the worst advice you've ever received? I can't think of a thing.
8. Tell us about the best summer vacation you EVER had. It was in May (so not quite summer) and Joe and I went to Italy. If you are talking when I was a kid, it would have been to the fishing camp in Ontario, Canada because that was always our summer vacation.
9. What do you have to have with you when you travel? My cell phone and Kindle. Why? Obvious, I think.
10. Would you accept $1,000,000 tax-free, if it meant you had to leave the country and never come back? Absolutely not. First, the USA is the best place in the world to live and Second...a million dollars wouldn't last long, tax-free or not.
11. Do you believe the world will be a better, or worse, place 100 years from now? The way things are going now, I doubt we will be here in 100 years. It will be much worse, I'm afraid, if we haven't had the Second Coming by then.
12. Do you expect to buy a new winter coat this year? LOL...nope.
13. If you could spend one year in perfect happiness but afterward would remember nothing of the experience, would you do so? What is 'perfect' happiness? I'm perfectly happy with my life and am happy to remember each day and year as they pass.

Happy Sunday to you! Thanks for your visit! Peace & hugs.

Though I didn't answer exactly the same, I feel exactly the same about #10 and 11 and I'd love to go back to Tarpon Springs. I was only there once in the 80's and it was a Sunday so not much was open. We just walked on the pier, watched the pelicans (up close and personal), and ate in a big Greek restaurant.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to say that I need a new winter coat this year. I've lost some weight and mine is now way too big. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Interesting questions - you are too sweet to have enemies! lol And who would leave you a negative comment? Not me! Love, sandie
ReplyDeleteNot sure what perfect happiness is, but we have certainly had some really good happy times in our life. And I wouldnt leave the USA to live somewhere else either!
ReplyDeleteLove your answers and I wouldn't leave the USA either. Hugs, lj
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Terri...the internet is great for the community we share. I have only had one or two negative comments on my blog so I just deleted them and moved on!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to join in today's meme, but really struggled with these questions. Love your answers to #10, #11 and especially #13.
