The Sunday Stealing meme for today was just too hard for me to understand. I am writing this on Saturday night and I am tired from a day on my feet and in the sun. I decided to just stop thinking about it and post some scripture instead. I hope this blesses your day as it always blesses mine!!
When the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees,
they gathered together, and one of them,
a scholar of the law tested him by asking,
"Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?"
He said to him,
"You shall love the Lord, your God,
with all your heart,
with all your soul,
and with all your mind.
This is the greatest and the first commandment.
The second is like it:
You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments."
Matthew 22: 34-40
Happy Sunday to you! Thanks for your visit and I send you peace & hugs.

Wisdom.

Our grandson, Benjamin, had to think of and pick a Scripture at church this past week to "get out of jail" at their fall festival. He said, "I picked a really good one!" Then he recited John 3:16.
ReplyDeleteSo - - like Benjamin - - - you picked a Really Good One, too!
Good choice for today! Hope you've had a restful day.
