Chattanooga Choo-Choo
Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!
1) Chattanooga is Tennessee's fourth largest city. Have you ever visited Tennessee? Yes, and I've been to Chattanooga! If so, where did you go and what did you see? I saw the Chattanooga Choo-Choo, the aquarium and the amazing Hunter Museum of Art. I was also there as a child....
My grandparents and me at Rock City.
Since Glenn Miller's recording of "Chattanooga Choo-Choo" was awarded the first-ever gold record, we're going to devote the next questions to your firsts.
2) What was the first award or accolade you ever won? My Reading Circle certificates in first grade (and second and third!).
3) We know about your blog. But which was the first social media site that you posted to? (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, MySpace ...) My Space.
4) Where did you go on your first plane ride? My brother took me up in a single-engine plane over our hometown.
5) Tell us about your first cell phone. I had a Blackberry before I had a cellphone. My first cellphone was a flip cover I think. Good golly, I've had a bunch of cellphones, with a new one every two years that's at least a dozen.
6) Tell us about your first tattoo: Where is it on your body? Where did you have it done? What does it depict? Sorry....no tats.
7) How old were you when you had your first piercing? I pierced my own ears when I was 15. Ice cubes, a potato, and a sterilized needle. Yes, I did them myself.
8) What had you been drinking the first time you suffered a hangover? I've never been drunk and never had a hangover.
9) Was your first ticket for parking or was it a moving violation? A moving violation in 1985. My one and only ticket. I was going 35 in a 25. The policeman apologized and thanked me for being so nice. I still got the ticket.
Thanks so much for joining us again at Saturday: 9. As always, feel free to come back, see who has participated and comment on their posts. In fact sometimes, if you want to read & comment on everyone's responses, you might want to check back again tomorrow. But it is not a rule. We haven’t any rules here. Join us on next Saturday for another version of Saturday: 9, "Just A Silly Meme on a Saturday!"Enjoy your weekend!
Happy Saturday! Thanks for stopping by! Peace & hugs.

Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers...love, love Chattanooga. Love, love everything about it. smiles
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day friend.
Surprised by some of your answers, Girl. I'm proud to say I now have 2 tatoos given to me by a radiology tech 2 years ago. :)
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine what surprised you, since we basically grew up together. Good to see you here!! Love & hugs for you and Lee.
DeleteI love the pic of you with your grandparents and I remember reading circles, but I don't think we got awards for them.
ReplyDeleteYou were very brave or very trusting to go up with your brother for the first flight. I had flown many times, but it still made me nervous to fly with my husband in those little planes.
Good for you, Teri that you never had a hangover or got drunk. I was embarrassed to say that I had.
As always, I enjoy your answers.
That's an adorable picture, Terri! I've been through Tennessee, but have no real memories. The Smoky Mountains and Grand Old Opry are my bucket list!
ReplyDeleteFather of social media-struck girls, my son now refers to FB as "Facespace."
That sounds like a lot of fun stuff to see in Chattanooga. I'm going to have to put it on my list of places I want to visit. And that is a cute picture. I love how sharp and stylin' your grandparents look.
ReplyDeleteGood song and a beautiful state! I love the picture of you with your Grandparents!
