Thanks to Crazy Sam Winters at Saturday 9 for another fun Q & A! Join in the fun HERE.
The Last Time I Saw Him
Welcome to Saturday 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme! Saturday 9: The Last Time I Saw Him (1973)
Unfamiliar with this week's tune? Hear it here.
1) In this song, Miss Ross sings of a tender farewell at the bus station. When did you last say goodbye to someone at an airport, dock, train or bus station? It's been a very long time...a year plus ago when we had our family reunion over at St. Pete Beach. We took our son, Jeff, to the airport.
2) Continuing with the theme of "lasts," who received the last gift you gave? Grandson Tristan received a check in his birthday card.
3) Who last did you a favor? Joe runs errands for me all the time!! Blessed to have him!
4) What's the last thing you dropped or broke? I don't really remember, but it was most likely glass and shattered all over the floor. I don't drop things often, but when I do, I really make a show of it! Ha!
5) What's the last thing you borrowed or lent? I borrowed a packing tape gun from our Curatorial Department so I could tape up some boxes of confidential payroll records for storage. I don't remember the last thing I loaned, but I'm usually happy to share when I can.
6) When is the last time you danced? I remember that one...at my niece's wedding. Joe doesn't like to dance. I was happy when he danced with me for the anniversary dance. We were one of three longest married couples there. It was fun.
7) When were you last nervous? Gosh, I have no idea. I just don't let things bother me anymore, I guess. I seriously can't remember.
8) What was your last DIY project? Does ordering something from Amazon count? Probably not. I have no idea what I made, fixed or crafted last. It's been awhile.
9) When did you last check your horoscope? Was it accurate? Horoscopes are on the comic pages of our daily paper, so I do always glance at it. I don't remember what it said by the time I get to work but can bet you it was not accurate at all. Silly stuff.
Thanks so much for joining us again at Saturday: 9. As always, feel free to come back, see who has participated and comment on their posts. In fact sometimes, if you want to read & comment on everyone's responses, you might want to check back again tomorrow. But it is not a rule. We haven’t any rules here. Join us on next Saturday for another version of Saturday: 9, "Just A Silly Meme on a Saturday!" Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope your weekend will be all you are expecting it to be! Can you believe it is October already?!! Peace & hugs!!

So far this morning, I've found no Sat 9ers who take their horoscope remotely serious. I'm surprised (even though that includes me). At every art fair, it seems mandatory to have a booth filled with astrology sign earrings and necklaces. Who's buying the stuff?
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your answers, Terri. Have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteAnything I pick up, gets dropped, and I attribute it to old age...lol I am not a 'fix it' type of woman, so either it is already together or someone else has to put it together. No horoscopes for me. I run all the errands these days. Have a nice weekend. It is beautiful here!
ReplyDeleteI hope to get some DYI projects done today. If I do they will be on my blog on Monday. And I love that Joe danced with you. Neither Marvin or myself are dancers but I love watching others dance.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet, that Joe asked you to dance with him. (I don't enjoy dancing either ... but I'm an enthusiastic observer!)
ReplyDeleteYour love story is so refreshing.
Have a great weekend!
Mr D and I used to dance a lot, not so much anymore. Like your Joe, Mr D is always doing 'favors' for me, aren't we blessed? Hope you're having a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteAmazon counts as far as I'm concerned. Somebody has to order the materials for the diy project!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers.
ReplyDeleteOur last DIY project was a minor kitchen remodel (kept the original cabinets) and I think it was 2014. Still kinda working on the kitchen but it does look so much better. It's always "one more thing", isn't it? *lol*
Hope your day is blessed. ~:)
I'd have a hard time remembering some of those too. But I do know who received the last gift. Baby M, of course! :) What do you think that dang hurricane is going to do?
ReplyDeleteWe are (of course) hoping Matthew continues on his way north into the Atlantic. Some of the models look iffy though. It could hit here Wednesday or so. Fingers crossed that it stays over water.
