Just a quick hello! We have tickets today for a Spring Training game, between the Detroit Tigers (who train here in Lakeland) and the St. Louis Cardinals (Jim's favorite team). I'm sure we will find some corned beef and cabbage after the game, to satisfy the St. Patrick's Day requirement! Maybe even some Irish beer or something stronger! Ha!

ReplyDeleteOooo. Gosh and Begoran (sp?), that sounds like fun. Have a great time. Wish I could celebrate with a bit of Green Beer today, but alas, I woke yesterday with a bout with gout in my ankle. Just copious amounts of water for me, Dagnabit.

ReplyDeleteAs a Michigan resident I should cheer for the Tigers, but Bob's nephew maintains the antique car collection of the Cardinal's owner, so I guess either team could win. :) Hope you had fun!
