Sunday Stealing...Making a List!

Thanks to Kwizgiver for this Sunday's meme!

Making A List Meme

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.
Cheers to all of us thieves!!!

Joe and I had a good day, celebrating his birthday.  We are sorry Darlene is having some nasty health issues, and sorry we missed spending the weekend with them (son & daughter-in-law), but we shifted gears and still made yesterday count.  We slept in. I cooked us a big breakfast and we enjoyed that and read the paper over coffee. We went to Sam's Club, then went to Mass (our usual 4:00 Vigil Mass). Joe picked Grill Smith for his birthday dinner and we both had delicious meals there.  We stopped by Walmart for a few thngs before going home.  We purchased a cake at Sam's Club and asked our neighbor, Sheila, to come over for some birthday cake.  She ended up staying about three hours.  We had a lot of catching up to do.

Today we are also sleeping late and are going to the movies at 1:00.  I think we will see War Room since several here have given it a good review.  We will be lazy and just play today. Tomorrow, since we have Monday off, will be laundry day.

I hope you are all enjoying Labor Day weekend!!  Thanks for your visit here!  Peace & hugs.

  3. I want to see War Room, too. Often, our church will show movies like that after they come out on DVD, so I'm thinking I'll wait for that!!! You are so good at making the best of a "not so bad" situation....sounds like you're celebrating in a great way with Mr. Joe. Still thinking about his upcoming heart cath. Happy SONday....enjoy your day!

  7. I've finally 'met' someone from the United States who doesn't drink soda! It seems that almost everyone in this part of the country drinks Ale8. I don't know if you have that in Florida. Before it was only sold in Central Kentucky and has since made its way North. At our reunion a couple of weeks ago, almost everyone brought Ale8 except me - i had water.

My brother-lin-law said this morning that the Cincinnati fireworks weren't going to be televised this year. That's a bummer, but I'm not that bothered. Apparently it will be the first year since 1984 that it's not on TV. Hope you enjoy the film and the rest of your Sunday.

    1. I've never heard of Ale8, but wouldn't drink it anyway if it is carbonated. I'm not 'into' any carbonated beverages. Sorry you are going to miss the fireworks.
