Prayer & Praise Friday!

Thanks for visiting today, for your prayer requests, and for sharing prayers answered!  If you request prayer in your comment today, know that our prayers will cover you and your intentions. This is an every Friday event. Count on us and we will count on you! The power of prayer is an awesome thing!

5 Principles on Prayer
1. In Humility

2. In Faith
3. In accordance with God's Will
4. Others-focused
5. In the name of Jesus

Prayer is the key of the morning and the bolt of the evening.

Prayer is an act of love; words are not needed. Even if sickness distracts from thoughts, all that is needed is the will to love.

My requests imclude the same from last week, so I know they are still on your lists:  For Bruce & Tammy, and for Karen & Lee.  I need to add prayer requests for our daughter-in-law Darlene, who is having some health issues, and also my Joe, who has to have a heart cath next week and possibly another stent inserted. Thank you!

Praising God that Tropical Storm Erika did not become a hurricane and instead just dissipated before it reached Florida!  Prayers answered!

I hope that this post has meaning for you and I appreciate your participation! Peace & hugs!

  2. Great quotes on prayer. Copying them in my prayer book. Pinned them to our Tuesday Talk board. Also, do you do link up parties? If so, join us on Tuesdays at 8:00 a.m. This week's is still going on and would love to have you.

  3. Asking for continued prayers for my friend, Diane, who suffers from continued back pain. Her personal issues are still on-going, as well.

Also asking for prayers for my hubby, Ed. He had a suspicious growth removed, this week, and we're awaiting the pathology report. Also praying for Ed as we both prepare for me to have surgery on Sept. 14. Sometimes surgery is as hard on the supporting spouse as it is on the patient.
I'm praying for a safe and enjoyable trip for your family, Terri, and sending prayers for your DIL, and for Joe.
I enjoyed all of the prayer quotes, this week :)
