Time for Me to Fly
Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!
1) How often have you flown so far this year? Not once this year.
2) Think back to your last flight. Was it pleasant, stressful, or just uneventful? Uneventful.

3) According to the Airports Council International, the world’s busiest airport is Atlanta's Hartsfield. Have you ever been to Atlanta? Yes.
4) This week’s featured band, REO Speedwagon, took their name from a truck. Have you ever driven a truck? Does an SUV count? If not, then no.
5) REO Speedwagon got their start in Champaign, Illinois, which is home to the U of I campus and, consequently, many bars. One of the most popular is the Blind Pig on Walnut Street. Give us the name of the bar, club or restaurant where you met up with friends in your younger days. Ziggy's.
6) Recently, lead singer Kevin Cronin appeared on an infomercial, hawking TimeLife’s two CD set of Ultimate Rock Ballads. Have you ever purchased anything from TV? Yes, but not in a long time.
7) This song is from the CD, You Can Tune a Piano, but You Can’t Tunafish. Is there a can of tuna in your kitchen right now? There is always a can of tuna in my pantry. I like tuna.
8) You Can Tuna Piano, but You Can’t Tunafish is available on eBay on vinyl, CD, cassette and 8 track. Did you have an 8 track player? Nope.
9) In 1978, when this song was popular, the first Susan B. Anthony Dollar was minted. How much do you have in coins in your wallet right now? $1.86.

Thanks so much for joining us again at Saturday: 9. As always, feel free to come back, see who has participated and comment on their posts. In fact sometimes, if you want to read & comment on everyone's responses, you might want to check back again tomorrow. But it is not a rule. We haven’t any rules here. Join us on next Saturday for another version of Saturday: 9, "Just A Silly Meme on a Saturday!" Enjoy your weekend!
Thanks for checking in for my answers to this week's Saturday:9 and thanks to 'Crazy Sam' for another interesting Meme!
UPDATE on JOE: He is HOME!!! They signed him out yesterday afternoon! He has a couple of new meds to take and still has to get the heart cath next week, but he is feeling good and will hopefully continue to feel good. The arrhythmia was caused by very low magnesium, so he has to take a magnesium supplement for 10 days. When our systems get out of whack, nasty things happen.
Thank you to everyone who offered prayers for him (and me). Thank you. Please keep him on your lists through the procedure next week. Thanks again!
Peace & hugs.

So glad Mr.Joe is home!!! My Mom had a heart attack because of an intestional bleed that caused dehydration. So true about when our bodies get out of whack. Praising the Lord for answered prayers!!! HOPE you all have a great weekend!!!

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Joe is home. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Obv. I missed something....I will keep Joe and you in prayer. Have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteThankful to hear Joe is home and I know he has the best 'nurse' to take care of him. Will pray until you tell me all is 100% ok.
ReplyDeleteSo happy Joe is home too! I've been to Atlanta's airport many times. I don't like airports too much whether they're busy or not. They've changed for me since 9/11. Enjoy your Saturday.
ReplyDeleteWow,I've been out of contact for a few days and so much has happened at your house!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy Joe is at home, and doing better. I'll continue to pray for him (and you), as well as the others mentioned on your Friday prayer list.
As for me, I'm recuperating from my surgery, and feeling a little better each day. So thankful for answered prayers! I'm experiencing a few 'sensations' in my leg after I've been up and about for a bit, but am praying they will subside as things continue to heal. I'm only 5 days out from surgery.
Take care of Joe and of yourself. I'll keep checking back with you.
Kathy (Reflections)
Yay. So glad Joe is home, and will continue prayers for him this week. Prayers for continued healing for Kathy, as well. God Bless.
