Laundry, laundry, laundry. That's been my day. That and grocery shopping and getting the car washed. It was covered in dead bugs from Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida.
Tomorrow, we are off to Naples for a night. I'm tired. We don't want to miss Tristan's 18th birthday party, though. We are blessed to be only a few hours away, now, after having missed so many special times with him, while he was growing up.
I spoke with Kathy a while ago, and Lauren is already there, helping with the baking and decorating. She doesn't expect us until around 3:00, so we can sleep in a bit before heading out tomorrow. It takes a little more than three hours to get there.
Jo Anne's party seems like a month ago, instead of just last weekend. We had such a good time, though. Here are a few more photos from the party....
Niece Kelly, Sister Patti, and me.
My sweet grandma and me.
Jo Anne's big surprise!
Three of Jo Anne's friends who dressed up and did a little skit for the party.
Jo Anne, listening to her friends little skit.
We did see some changing leaves. This is from my sister's front deck.
Another view from Patti's deck.
Patti's welcoming front porch/deck.
I will once again be away from social media for another day. More pictures to come, though, of another happy occasion. Thanks for stopping by. Peace & blessings.

Glad you are home and getting caught up. You'll have fun tomorrow, but it's hard coming right after all that driving!
ReplyDeleteYour sister has a marvelous view!
Hi Terri, Glad you made it home safe and sound. I know what you mean about BUG on your car. We got lots of them on our recent trip to Texas!!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like another celebration upcoming for you/your family. How exciting is that... Glad you are able to be with your family to enjoy so much time together. Have fun in Naples.
Hugs,
Betsy
Love the pic of you, your sister, and your niece! And I hope you have a nice birthday party for Tristan. There's something about 3 hours that's right on the edge of too far away. Our son's family live 3 hours away. It would be so much easier to see them if it were 2 hours instead. :-) For us, it's because we have animals here and can't be gone that long. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLoveee the pics you shared. Glad you made it home safely etc. Happy birthday to Tristan! Blessings
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteOn the road again, huh? Enjoy! Happy 18th b'day to Tristan, too.
ReplyDeleteI am behind for some reason, but I know you had a good time on the trip, and now you are taking another and it will be as much fun. Hope pictures to follow on this one too.
ReplyDeleteQuite a few birthdays this month. Hope Tristan enjoys his 18th birthday. Loved all the photos you've shared and look forward to seeing those from Tristan's party.
ReplyDeleteA good picture of you with your Grandma. Pretty lady. It looks like Jo Anne's party was a lot of fun and I'm sure your time with Tristan has been a good time too.
ReplyDeleteYou are one busy girl! And so lucky to still have a grandma. I lost my last one in 1999. I hope you've had fun at Tristan's party and have a chance to rest before jumping back into the workweek!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of states and must be a lot of bugs! JoAnne's friends look like a lot of fun. I bet they did a good skit.
