Throw Back Thursday....

I mentioned in an earlier post that our granddaughter, Lauren, is moving to Florida.  She graduated from Monmouth University, in New Jersey, and she is a Floridian now!  Our son (her dad) helped her move down last week, and she got the keys to her new apartment on June 1st. She is getting settled, and her cat, Catherine, is trying to figure out what happened. We are excited to have her closer! She is in Boca Raton, where she hopes to get into graduate school, in a year or so. She wants to take some time off, first, and is looking for a job.  This puts her about 3 hours from us, and about 2 hours from her mom (our daughter-in-love).  Kathy and Tristan were there last weekend, to help get her moved in.

Speaking of our son, he and Darlene are moving closer, too!  They put an offer on a house in Brunswick, Georgia, and hope they get it. We're excited for them (and us!).

My throw-back photos are of Lauren. I am sure I've posted these before, so apologize if you remember them. She is on my mind right now! I need to see her - soon, I hope!!

Kindergarten Graduation!

College Graduation

Tristan will be a senior next year. Sure is hard to believe...time goes so darn fast!!  Thanks for  peeking in! I wish you a good Thursday! Tonight is facial night for me. Joe is tasked with getting something for dinner. He mentioned Popeye's Chicken. Blessings!!

  8. While I was working at school today, there were parents coming and going all day because the kindergarten classes were graduating. They only got paper hats though, not nice real ones like your granddaughter. They certainly do grow up fast!
