Coffee & Tea
Hello! Glad you are back for more of Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.. If you knew Toni you would know that coffee was one of her great pleasures in life. So friends, let's talk about those two popular drinks tea and coffee. Okay? Let's go...
1. What is your favorite coffee? (brand or flavor) If you are a tea lover, which tea is the best for you? I am not a tea lover but I will drink a cup of tea now and then. I drink a couple of cups of coffee in the morning. I buy coffee at Publix when it is on BOGO. I prefer a dark roast but don't have a favorite. Same for the k-cups. I don't care for flavored coffees.
2. How do you take your coffee or tea? Sugar, cream, flavoring? I can drink coffee black or with cream and sweetener but use Coldstone Sweet Cream or Italian Sweet Cream most of the time. If I drink a cup of tea, I just want it sweetened a bit.
3. Do you go out for coffee/tea with friends? Ever enjoy a real tea room or a tea party? I don't go out for coffee or tea with friends often but did stop at a local coffee shop with my friend, Lois, when she was here a few weeks ago. I don't "do" tea rooms or tea parties but would if I was invited.
4. If you could design a coffee shop or even a coffee/tea station in your home, what would it be like? I have a coffee area in my kitchen at one end of the counter. It isn't especially pretty but it works.
I wish you were close enough to come over for coffee or tea. I would gladly make you a cup of coffee since you aren't really into "tea". It's just the fellowship that matters most, no matter what we have to drink! I don't keep any special cream, etc. on hand for coffee. Hubby is happy with just plain milk in his coffee, so if you are coming I will try to remember to get the good stuff! LOL. Hope you are settling back into your routine now that your company is gone, but I know you are missing them. How wonderful that you were able to finally have all three of you girls together again. ReplyDeleteCoffee is always a good choice for me. I like all kinds of flavors. When we built the coffee klatch area it's stocked full of New England Coffee flavors. Yum!

I love a good cup of coffee too but don't drink much hot tea. Love all the pretty tea cups and mugs though!

ReplyDeleteOne of these days I'm going to try that Italian Sweet Cream. I'm on my 2nd cup now, but will probably make a 3rd mid-afternoon for a pick-me-up.
Aw, if you ever head up to Ohio again and we get a chance to meet up, I'd invite you to the local tea shop. It's such a cool place and would be a great place to visit in person. :) Hope you are having a good week, Terri!
ReplyDeleteI have two girlfriends with whom I meet most Friday mornings for a cup of coffee, sometimes a light breakfast, too. We are like a small support group that has helped me to get through some tough stuff. My coffee can be black or with cream and sugar. I drink about 2 cups a day.
ReplyDeleteI would love to take you to the tearoom here. The food is fabulous, and the desserts are homemade and delicious. When I tried one of their cakes, I thought to myself this is what it must be like to do a wedding cake test. So good! Loved your answers! Have a nice week.

I'm kind of the same way with your answers. I just started using the O Organics Italian sweet cream and I love to froth it for my coffee once in awhile to feel "special"
