The Household Meme
Hi! I'm your host Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". .
Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The
Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the
blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most
interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!
(Thanks for the suggestion from The Gal Herself)
1. How many gravy boats do you have in your kitchen? Three.
2. Do the clothes in your laundry basket need ironing? What is ironing? Nope.
3. What is the last thing you wallpapered? I hate wallpaper. I will never paper a wall in our house, ever. I have had to steam too much of it off. Never again.
4. Wooden floors or carpet? Wooden or tile. I am so over carpet.
5. Why do we put out guest towels if no one is supposed to use them? Use them, please!
6. If your spatula could talk, what would it say about your duvet? I don't have a duvet.
7. Have you replaced the batteries in your smoke alarms this year? Yes.
8. If you could put thyme in a bottle, what is the first thing that you'd like to do? Thaw some chicken.
9. Do eggs really crack or do they merely have a nervous breakdown? LOL. I think they crack.
10. Why are you whipping the butter? What did it ever do to you? Ahhh... butter!! How do I love thee?
11. Do your spoons spoon in the drawer? Yes! Have you ever noticed? Yes. And more importantly, if wooden spoons spoon do they get splinters? If they aren't careful.
12. You hear: "Dumpling, my Dumpling, come hither." The candles are lit, the fondue is dipping, the Godiva is pouring, the scallions are steaming and the music is playing.....but wait, the windows are open. Why did you close them? Too darn hot to leave them open. The AC is on!!
13. Do you need a recipe to cook or are you a bohemian chef? Usually bohemian.
14. Is your pot black? Two of them are.
15. What is the sexiest spice or condiment in your cabinet? White truffle oil. What makes it so: The memory of having white truffle pasta in Orvieto, Italy. And that is all I'll say about that!
We are off to real church this morning!!
I am so happy!
Peace & hugs!! God Bless!!

Real church!!! Hooray for you, Terri! May your day be extra blessed because of it.
ReplyDeleteReal church today?! How exciting! I'm sure it will be an amazing service with everyone so glad to be back together.
ReplyDeleteReal butter...yep, so much better than margarine.
Have a blessed day!
Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day, friend...p.s. our duvet would say, "Hey folks, you do know you can use the sheets, right?" LOLOL (We tend to get lazy when it is super warm and just sleep under the duvet.)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers today.
ReplyDeleteHave a good Sunday.
Not sure I've ever had truffle oil! I'd love to replace our nasty carpet in the hallway and bedrooms, but it just seems too much $ and trouble to bother with right now. Like I told Stacy, PROPS to you for taking on today's questions!
ReplyDeleteThey are a silly challenge!
DeleteGlad you got to go to church this morning!
ReplyDeleteAs usual our answers are very similar. I don't have gravy boats, but a few gravy pitchers - tiny pitchers meant for gravy, but I display them.
I never heard of truffle oil!
This was a fun one!
So glad you got to go to church this morning and I know it was a true blessing. Love the funnies!
