I enjoy a weekly op-ed piece by Marc Thiessen, who is a thoughtful conservative. His article was about tweets and asking for prayer. It is HERE if you want to see it (hopefully it will open for you) He quoted Monsignor Charles Pope who spoke at the National Day of Prayer event. This isn't quite verbatim because I jotted it down on a piece of scrap paper, but: "...one of the joys of Heaven will be that we will be able to see what a difference our prayers made! We will see that we changed world history by our prayers working with God's Grace."
Wow. We talk about seeing our loved ones again, in Heaven, but I have never really thought about being able to see the effect of our prayers. How wonderful and amazing is that thought?! Just wow.
I will leave it at that!! Have a blessed Sunday!!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!
Pray!!

I had never thought of that either and am glad you brought it to light. Have a blessed Sunday.
ReplyDeleteA lovely thought, smiles. Have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a thought to ponder deeply, when we sometimes wonder if God hears our prayers.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Terri!
Wishing you a wonderful day... :)
ReplyDeleteA moving piece, indeed! Unfortunately, the Ledger would only give me access if I paid to subscribe. So, I took to Google and was able to access Mr. Thiessen's article. Here's the link:

Thanks, Myra. My sister, in Ohio, was able to open my link so I was hopeful it would work for all. We subscribe so I didn't know how it would work here. Glad you found it!
DeleteI hadn't thought of it that way either and I like it. Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteI had not thought about that. Great post! Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't given that one thought either.
ReplyDeleteOooh - I really like that! Never thought of that before.
ReplyDeleteI love that thought too. Yes, I believe we will see that our prayers were answered, and may have even been instrumental in changing many lives because we were faithful to pray. We should never stop praying. We just don't know what good it is doing! Great post.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful that I, like you, have not especially considered before. ... makes me want to pray even more!
