Another weekend like all the rest of late.
On Thursday, the man we hire each year to pressure wash our house came to get rid of the pollen and grime clinging to our white siding. It looks so much better now! Our neighbors might just let us stay around for a few more months now! (wink)
I did a little cleaning.
We "attended" church yesterday morning. Our Assistant Pastor had the message this week and it was so meaningful during this time. We just love it when Brian preaches.
Joe and I took a little ride around town yesterday afternoon. We were only out and about for 45 minutes or so but it felt good to be out of the house.
There was a great deal on Facebook for the Starz app so I took advantage of it and we have been marathon watching Outlander, Season Five, since yesterday afternoon. We stopped in time to catch American Idol, because our Lakeland girl Kimmy Gabriela is still competing.
I am excited to get back to my chiropractor today!! And I made an appointment for Joe because his back has been hurting again. Little by little, we are hopefully easing things here. A week from today, I have my pre-op appointment with my surgeon. Yikes!!
Today is also laundry day... and that's all I have for today!! Thanks for checking in!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!

I am listening to my washer filling up for the rinse cycle as I write this. I guess this is laundry day for me too, although I do laundry about every other day here. Seems like we go through a lot of stuff! We must be dirtier than you. LOL. Wow, your knee surgery time will be here before we know it, and I pray that everything will be able to happen on schedule. Praying for you now as you mentally and physically prepare for this event. I know you are anxious to get it over with. Glad you got that siding pressure washed! I'd hate for the neighbors to start leaving you nasty notes! LOL. I know we had ours done when we moved into this house, and I can tell it will need it again before the year is over. Can't believe we have been here 8 months already! Time sure flies when you are having so much fun! LOL. Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteThat's great that you can get in to see your chiropractor. All our doctor appointments have been cancelled. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI read this morning that Florida is now allowing elective surgery.... sure hope it is right and everything goes as planned.... have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping that things start opening and that it all goes well. I think the economy could use it and I for one am ready for a few outings.
ReplyDeleteSounds like things in your neck of the woods are slowly, but surely, returning to somewhat normal, and that is such good news, Terri! Danny and I have to get out for a few things today, so I'm looking forward to that drive, too. Of course, one stop is for curbside delivery, and where Danny actually has to enter a store? It's full mask gear and gloves! He looks so funny, but that's the only way he feels safe right now.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Glad you got your house outside pressure washed and also glad you got out for a ride. Slowly but surely is the way for me....havent been out but twice for a ride since this all started. Got cabin fever! Have a good Monday.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of FL easing back some restrictions, sigh...no end in sight for us, regardless of what our governor says.
ReplyDeleteANYWAYS, taking a drive does help, grin. Have a beautiful day friend.
Thank goodness for our chiropractors! Hubby and I both went on Friday morning. Hope you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteGetting out for a drive does wonders! We're going to drive over to the preserve today....God willing! Take care and stay safe this week!
ReplyDeleteWow on your in-person doctors' appointments! Tom's doc at UAB has changed his follow-up this Thursday to a video call. (Happy dance!) We watched Kimmy G. last night and thought she did great. I love how the producers are still keeping AI going remotely.
ReplyDeleteI agree.....little by little we will get back to normal. I invited my besties over for lunch here at my house on Thursday. They will bring a sack lunch and I will provide dessert. We will sit six feet apart. I am so looking forward to seeing them.
ReplyDeleteThose little rides are great sanity savers, aren't they? Glad your appt. with the surgery doc is still on. I hope it all goes through as scheduled and doesn't get put off. Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteOur chiropractor's office is still closed, we are hoping he returns sometime this week. Our PCP is supposed to open his office today. We've been going on rides too, it does break the monotony of staying home. Good to hear all is well with you and Joe!
ReplyDeleteSo is going to the chiropractor new? Like was it allowed the whole time?
ReplyDeleteNo. They were closed for 30 days.
DeleteGlad you can go to the chiropractor again. I just told Bob we need to go out for a drive, just for fun!
ReplyDeleteWe went for a drive yesterday. Never got out of the car but it sure was nice to see something besides the inside of our house for a change!
ReplyDeleteI gotta remember that girl's name! Kimmy Gabriela. We had American Idol on Sunday evening but I was doing other things and not paying close attention.
