I heard that my grandma was released from the hospital to a nursing home yesterday. We are so thankful that they had a bed in the same home she was in a few years ago, after breaking her hip. We visited her there and know it is a good place with wonderful staff.
This is her holding me when I was not even a month old. She is my "step" grandma but has always been in my life. I've learned that love lines are just as strong (or stronger) than blood lines.
Here she is a few years ago, around Mother's Day. Those are flowers we sent to her.
