Friday Foto Friends....

I am linking up with Friday Foto Friends HERE to share a few recent photos with you.  I thought I would show you my office area....

This is the door to my very comfortable corner office. It has been my home away from home for 19 years and counting.  I change out the door decor with the seasons. Between holidays, I keep the patriotic stars hanging there.

Walking into my office, this is my view.

Looking out my window at the parking lot and the City's main library.

This is my chair and desk (and very messy bulletin board). The shaw over my chair is for days when it is chilly in the office. We keep the temperature and humidity controlled for the art work and sometimes it can make you shiver!  (My grandmother crocheted the shaw years and years ago.)

Walking out of my office door, you can see the Kuerig Coffee Maker and all the snacks available for purchase by employees. We also have a little refrigerator there.  The restroom is immediately to the right, and other offices are off to the left.

I am happy it is Friday!!  Having a lunch meeting today with my boss. Joe and I are taking our friend, Sheila, out for dinner tonight.  She sold her house that is down the street from us and we promised to take her out to celebrate. She bought a new place and wants us to see it after we eat (or before - not sure).  She is our neighbor whose husband died a little over a year ago. They were friends of ours for over 20 years.  I am really happy for her that she is making a new life in a new place. The house she sold is huge and her new place is a condo. It's a good thing.

No plans for the weekend other than to get my big pile of clothes taken to the church thrift store, and church of course.

Happy April!!  No April Fools Jokes!  Just happy April!

Thanks for dropping by!  Peace & hugs.

  4. I like getting to share part of your life through pictures. Funny thing about temperatures inside buildings - - - even home. It is usually set at the same comfortable temperature all the time here - - - but if I am very tired, I cannot stay warm! Also, I know you have noticed when it is rainy outside, it always seems cooler inside. So nice you wrap yourself in the comfort of that shawl - - both physically and emotionally with the wonderful memories.

  9. I think it is such a blessing to have a shawl crocheted by your grandmother. Just priceless! My granny was a quilter and I have a couple of quilts that she made for me when I was a kid and for my babies. They mean the world to me.

    Have a blessed weekend. :)
