- I'm excited for a friend who is buying his first house. Joe and I both went by to see it today! What fun for him!
- Work went well yesterday after being off on Friday. I love that our volunteer is so competent and I can be off without worrying about coming back to a mess! What a blessing. I'm taking her to lunch next week. It's the least I can do.
- Our three remaining cats seem to be settling in after losing Onyx. It has taken awhile, and I've cleaned up messes and settled spats....it's been a good couple of weeks lately and I hope things will continue to improve.
- I received a very nice gift card for Shutterfly, for Christmas. I need to do a book for our 30th-anniversary trip. I also want to do one after our July beach reunion/vacation.
- I'm really tired today. All the driving is catching up with me, and we have another trip this weekend! Worth it, but I'm tired.
- We had a very long and hard rain storm with thunder and lightning last night. We get lots of rain this time of year, but not usually with thunder!

We had some storms in the mountains last weekend with golf ball-sized hail. We just had a couple of drops in Madrid, and we have summer again. Hope you get rested up before the weekend.
ReplyDeleteYour posts are NEVER boring. I love knowing what you do day to day...makes me feel we just live across town from one another. It is so nice to have someone you can count on when you are gone from work. The weekend will be a good one. We had those type storms and the lights flickered on and off and on again. But thankfully, it didnt last long.

ReplyDeleteI love thunder storms, but I'm usually pretty tired the next day. Congratulation to your friend who's getting the house. So glad the cats are finally adjusting. ReplyDeleteHi Terri, Congrats to the friend with the new home. I always enjoy visiting new homes. Glad your assistant kept things afloat while you were away; takes some of the pressure off you taking time off. Hope things continue to go smoothly with your 3 cats. I know you miss Onyx. One of my cats had emerg. surgery for a mouth tumor yesterday. Waiting on the lab results but he is in a lot of pain today. The Shutterfly gift card is a great idea and your trips will be a good subject. Wishing you a restful evening after your travel.

I am soooooo tired this week!! I think I used up all my adrenaline last week. Now I feel like I could just sleep all the time. But of course I can't!
