My Throwback (and thankful) Thursday photo is of Joe, relaxing on Folly Beach, SC back in 2009. That was the last time we had a family beach vacation, and it was only some of my immediate family. Next month's family reunion beach vacation includes cousins too and is on our beautiful Gulf of Mexico St. Pete Beach! Love the beach, wherever we find one!
The thankful part of my Thursday post is that Joe is feeling better. We went out to dinner with our neighbor, Sheila, and had an enjoyable meal at Olive Garden (her choice).
Thanks for your visit today! Peace & hugs!

So glad your Joe is feeling better....it gets us down when those we love aren't feeling up to par. Hope you both have a great day.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Joe is feeling better. Joe has the right idea in that picture (smiles). Have a great day, Terri. Blessings
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Joe is feeling better. Love the ocean!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Joe is feeling better. The reunion will be very special this year.....close to home, close to the beach and additional family members being there. Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteGlad Joe is feeling better. Hope you all enjoy your time at the beach. My husband was in Florida earlier this month and enjoyed it very much.
ReplyDeleteGlad he is feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI would love to be sitting there about right now! Glad to hear he is feeling better and that you had fun last night at Olive Garden!
ReplyDeleteI echo ecerybody's comments that we're glad Joe is feeling better. I know most people don't share some of my likes and dislikes, but I'm not a beach person any more. I much prefer the mountains and the country for a getaway.
ReplyDeleteThat warm sand looks so inviting! So thankful Joe is better. Glad you could enjoy dinner with your friend at OG. Wishing you a restful evening. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThose waves are lovely. I've not visited that beach yet. My favorite view of the ocean is in Bar Harbor Maine.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear your husband is better. I'm going to check out this beach. Looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGood news to hear your hubby is feeling better. He looks like he sure is enjoying himself in that picture. We live very close to Galveston and we never go down there anymore.
ReplyDeleteGlad your honey is feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI read a book called On Folly Beach by Karen White. I seem to recall it being good. That is the only time I have heard of it until today!
Enjoy that trip to St. Pete's beach this summer. That's a beautiful area.
