Rather than posting 10 thoughts for Tuesday, I'll just say that I will never forget this day, 11 years ago. I was at work, and one of the art teachers came to the Administrative offices to tell us that something terrible was happening in New York. We turned on radios and TVs and stood horrified at what we saw and heard. It was a surreal day - like time stood still. We all talked about how life would never be the same again - and it has changed us, hasn't it.
God bless the survivors, the families of all affected, and especially the men and women who worked the rescue operations.

A day that forever changed each one of our lives.
ReplyDeleteWe were tent camping. Had no idea what was going on until we decided to head to mall and it was closed. Security guard told us what had happened
ReplyDeleteI was going to try and post a Ten Thought Tuesday since I have nothibg planned for this morning, but your idea is much better. I remember this day perfectly though it's one I'm sure almost everybody would like to forget. God bless America, the victims and their families and everyone who suffers from senseless hate and violence.
ReplyDeleteI was at work, a secretary in a real estate office, when one of our clients came through the door with tears in her eyes. She told me to turn on the TV, "something horrible just happened". Then we watched the second tower being hit. We all cried, in shock. It was a day I'll never forget.
ReplyDeleteI will never forget the day. a day so much like the one I am having here today. Clear blue skies and perfectly beautiful outside. I was home. I had the TV on I couldn't believe the sights it all seemed so unreal. So sad, words cannot describe. I remember calling my sister and talking
ReplyDeleteEveryone felt the same thing - shock, sorrow, thankful that we all banded together at this horrible time.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless America.
