No sleeping in today. I had to be at the Museum by 8:00 a.m., to help with the decorating for Family Day. I was on balloon arch duty from 8:00 - 10:00, than answered phones from 10:00 - 12:00. Not many phone calls, so I got some paperwork organized, which is a good thing.
Balloon duty was staffed by me, my co-worker and friend, Pal, and Pal's two girls. A couple of volunteers also helped some, but Pal is the balloon arch guru. Pictures are below. The event went well, and was very well attended. It always is. I'll get a final count on Monday, be we have been averaging around 1,600 people through the doors. It's a good time for all, with face painting, art projects, story telling, magic, balloon animals....and with an Asian theme (to go along with the main exhibit) there was even a volunteer showing people how to use chopsticks.
Joe, Al and I went to the Vigil Mass at 4:00, then Joe and I went out for dinner, and then to Publix for a couple of things. Home now, with our butts planted in front of the TV. Hope you have had a good Saturday! We don't have anything planned for tomorrow. Come what may.... Peace, love & hugs.

Sounds like an exciting and rewarding day. The balloon arch looks real nice.
