August 19, 2012 Sunday

The message at Mass this morning was about the Body and Blood of Christ, and the Catholic belief that Christ is present in the Eucharist.  We had a visiting Priest from Africa.  He was an eloquent speaker.

After 7:30 Mass and dropping Al off at his house, we went to Fred's Southern Market, for the breakfast buffet.  Yum.  We didn't have to eat lunch after that feast.  For our dinner, Joe grilled steak and we had asparagus and corn with it.

The last load of laundry is in the dryer.  I had an extra load, with the guest room sheets to do.  I also got some much needed bookkeeping done.  It has been a stay-at-home, but good day.  Back to work tomorrow!

The network card is going out on my laptop.  I ordered a USB network card through Amazon, and it should be here on Tuesday.  My connection lasts anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes.  Needless to say, it is driving me crazy.

Did you get the same message I received today, regarding Multiply releasing the codes so the blogging site can live on?  How do you feel about it?  I like Blogger, but I really miss my friends who haven't moved here. Seems like it would be nice to stay on Multiply, if it really won't change (or get better!).  Time will tell.

I hear thunder rumbling outside.  Sounds like we are in for some rain again.

Hope you have all had a good weekend.  Wishing you a good week ahead.  Monday is almost upon us!  Peace, love & hugs.

  1. I didn't get anything from Multiply. I wish I had. I think I would rather stay there than at Blogger. I don't understand it at all.

  2. I have been gone all day and did not get the message yet I'll check it out tomorrow. I'll probably keep my blogs there if I can at least for now . I wasn't looking forward to trying to save and delete and whatever. However since because of all the confusion and people seeking other sites they have helped cause by their first message there have been some other doors open. It's a chance to see if I like other sites better or not once I have learned them :)

  4. I just checked Multiply and I've gotten no message. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I really don't like Blogger. It's too difficult getting from one place to another, or I'm just thick-headed.
It sounds like you had a good Sunday. Your dinner is just what I like. Sounds delicious.
    Have a good week.

  5. I probably will stay at Multiply if they get it all worked out. I had been using Blogger as a place to keep a copy of my blog so I will stay here too.

Sounds like you had a nice Sunday. Have a great week!

  7. Beautiful background and nice blog my friend. As I said on Multiply, going to stay here..I like the change. Most people dont like to change, but I always have...rearrange furniture, etc., so now that I am here and feel more comfortable, this is where I will be. I will leave M. up just to connect with friends that stay. Have a great week ahead.

    1. I don't mind change, and have been enjoying learning Blogger and Google+, but I hate visiting four different sites to keep up with the friends I have come to know and love on Multiply. That's the 'change' I don't like - losing good friends. If I have to keep visiting a half dozen places, I guess I will, but I'll only be blogging at one place, and that is here for now.

  8. Your Sunday sounded so nice! I haven't seen the message about the source code, but that would be awesome if it really works out! I will stay on Multiply and blogger. I'm having too much fun on blogger and love my new page. I will just "cut and paste" my blog entries between the two sites. I have some new friends on blogger that have never heard of Multiply.

  9. Hi Terri...It sounds as though you had a very nice Sunday. Any establishment with a name like Fred's Southern Market has got to be really good. I did not see the info about releasing the Multiply Codes. I doubt if a startup would work. They never seem to. So for now I too will remain here on Blogger and X-post to Multiply until such time as it goes Poof in the Middle of the Night. From what I am seeing Blogster is about to self destruct for some reason. I am hoping the Blogster Folks end up here on Blogger. We shall see.

  11. I received that message too. I don't delete accts, I just wait till the very end and transfer them to the new place when there's nothing left to do. So if Multiply stays open, I'll still be there. But I've been here for several years already, as you know.

My church just started a 9 week study of the book of Jonah. With only 4 chapters, I don't know how that is going to work. The main point Sunday was that the story is about God, NOT about the fish, which is only mentioned in 2 verses. We've made it about the fish, and we need to start thinking differently.
