Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 560

From this Side of the Pond

1. What is an adult problem nobody prepared you for?   Took me 10 years to figure out I made a mistake when I married at 19.  I was too naive to see the signs for what they were.

2. Without mentioning any tech, what's your most prized possession?  I wouldn't leave my cats behind if I had to flee (are they possessions?).  I suppose there are a few bits and pieces but at this time of my life, my health and welfare are much more important than any possession.  I won't mention phones and computers, but...

3. It's National Peach Ice Cream Day (July 17th). Will you be celebrating? Do you like peaches? Given a choice, would you prefer peach ice cream, peach pie, peach cobbler, or just hand me a peach? Do you own anything that is peach in color?  I don't have any peach ice cream, so I won't be celebrating.  I do like peaches and would love a piece of peach pie, some cobbler, or just a juicy peach right from the tree!  I have a peachy-colored t-shirt.

4. What makes a friendship successful?  trust. respect. caring.

5. Let's give our brains a rest and do a little summertime this or that...beach or pool? ice cream or snowcone? amusement park or camping? burger or hot dog? watermelon or strawberries? get up early or sleep in late? sunrise or sunsetMy answers are in red.

6. Insert your own random thought here.  I had a few staple items I needed to get, to replace some things I had to toss on Saturday when I cleaned out the pantry.  I stopped at Publix on the way home from work yesterday with just five things on my list and walked out with those things plus a cart full of BOGOs that I don't need at all but am happily snacking on as I type this.  Goodbye $107.++.  Ordering from Kroger saves money because of those BOGOs.  Am I the only one who does that?

Peace and Hugs!

It was down at the feet of Jesus,
O the happy, happy day!
That my soul found peace in believing,
And my sins were washed away.
