What do you do when Joyce takes a well-deserved Wednesday off? Take it off too!
So I'm just checking in to say hello and happy Wednesday. Work has been a little crazy with a huge event going on this Friday, the auditor in yesterday for some pre-audit work and I am trying to help with the financial transition team taking over my responsibilities. Whew!!
Peace & hugs!! Prayers continue for all those promised.

A happy Wednesday to you, too. Enjoy your day "off." LOL
ReplyDeleteTerri, I am going to a party for my 70 year old Aunt who is retiring as a bookkeeper in the carpet industry. She never went to college just learned as she went and probably could have an accounting degree! She told me it took her six months to train the young lady who is taking over from her and I think she is a college grad. You ladies who have enabled your bosses to sleep soundly at night due to your competence will be missed!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Arlene. That's what they are telling me. I've just done the work for so long that it's hard to remember everything that has to be covered. I don't like leaving loose-ends. Congrats to your aunt!! I've actually had three job offers, but I am ready to retire and spend more time with Joe right now.
DeleteHappy Hump Day!
ReplyDeleteRetirement is right around the corner...smiles. I could never ever be "bean counter", lol...we all know my issues with math.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great day too Terri!
ReplyDeleteYou need to take a tea break and chill...I know what audits are like...so thankful my audit days are over!!! I'll pray for you. May the Lord continue to give you strength for these hectic days, and help you relax and look forward to your upcoming retirement with JOY!!
ReplyDeleteTraining someone to take over your duties...retirement is getting close!!!
ReplyDeleteAudits - booooo and there is a team taking over your job, whereas you have done it all for a long time....:-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!
Happy Wednesday! Hope you've enjoyed your day!
ReplyDeleteI hope your "today" hasn't been too stressful, Terri. Another day closer to the big R!
