Can't Stop the Feeling!
Welcome to Saturday 9. What we've committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do "random questions," so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don't have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today's meme!
Saturday 9: Can't Stop the Feeling! (2016)
Unfamiliar with this week's tune? Hear it here.
1) This is an upbeat, positive song. Are you feeling upbeat and positive right now? It is a blessing that I am rarely "down" and try to always be positive, so yes, I am feeling upbeat and positive.
2) Justin Timberlake is a good dancer. And why not? In this song, he sings he has "good soul in my feet." Consider your own dancing talent and compose your own lyric: I have lead weights in my feet.
3) In the video, there's dancing in the laundromat. Do you have dirty clothes in the hamper, or are you all caught up with your laundry? I get caught up on Sundays, so there are indeed dirty clothes in my hamper. It is never empty for long.
4) There's also dancing in the supermarket. What do you need to pick up at the store? I keep a list on the refrigerator door and I think I started a second column this morning. Cat food is ALWAYS on the list.
5) This song will appear in the upcoming Dreamworks Trolls movie. Some people believe Troll dolls are good luck. Do you have a good luck charm? Nope. I'm not superstitious that way. When I was in high school, I did have four or five troll dolls. We put them in the freezer and it was supposed to make their hair 'grow'... never worked for me, but that's what we did back then! LOL
6) Justin Timberlake loves to dunk Oreos in milk. Crazy Sam thinks this is all wrong -- the way to eat an Oreo is to twist the two halves apart and lick the cream first. Which method do you prefer, Justin's or Sam's? Justin's is my preference. I like to dunk any cookie in milk.
7) Justin admits to some fashion fails. He and Britney Spears wore matching denim outfits that he regrets, and he's sorry he ever tried cornrows. What about you? Can you think of a look you thought was cool at the time, but now it makes you shudder? I had a pair of moccasins that I wore ALL THE TIME one year when I was in high school. It was a 'hippy thing' which would have worked had I also worn "hippy" type clothing. Plus, they were very worn and pretty dirty.
8) He is a very good golfer. When were you last on the golf course? I quit playing golf in the late 70s. I was
9) Random question: Think about your romantic involvements. Were you in love with one of them, some of them, or all of them? Sometimes what we think is love, isn't even close. So thankful for a second chance with Joe!!

Thanks for your visit today!! Your comments are always appreciated! Happy Saturday! Peace & hugs.

I've never heard that bit about growing the trolls hair, but then I never got into trolls.
ReplyDeleteI had moccasins. I loved them and don't regret them at all. In fact, I've been feeling nostalgic about them just lately and would so buy another pair if only they had any arch support.
Now, I agree with Sam, twist the oreo off and eat the crème first, LOL. I have never heard of those troll dolls, interesting. Have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteI always had a little troll on my pencil...still recall that smell/fragrance they had about them. Oh, those 60s :) Have a great weekend, dear Friend.
ReplyDeleteI pull my Oreos apart, lick off the filling, then dunk in milk. lol
ReplyDeleteI never had a troll doll.
Have a great weekend!
Dancing is not in my genetic make up Terri!lol I love to watch people dance and wish i had the talent.
ReplyDeleteI love to dunk cookies in my coffee! I also wore moccasins in high school, white ones! It was a big fad for a short time. I've never played golf, it just never interested me. Don't believe in good luck, I believe in God's Blessings!! Hope you're enjoying your week-end.
ReplyDelete1. Yes, I am feeling upbeat today.
ReplyDelete2. "Her moves are silly."
3. I'll do laundry on Monday, as usual.
4. I need to buy more Bisquick (gluten-free)
5. Not into superstitions.
6. I used to take my Oreos apart.
7. Plaid bell bottom slacks during my college days.
8. Only miniature golf for me.
9. Just infatuations. My husband is my only real love.
Thanks for the fun, Terri!
My grocery list is growing as well. Thanks goodness I make the list and my daughter does the shopping and brings to us each week. Never played golf. My laundry is never finished...never. I had crushes on boys in high school, but never anything serious. Hope your Saturday is a good one.
ReplyDeleteI always have catfood on my list, too, but it's not produced by Hill's or Purina. My girlcat Connie has to have a supplement every day, twice a day, dissolved in wet food. Unfortunately, because she was raised from kitten hood by a financially stripped hoarder, she doesn't acknowledge canned cat food as food. She only likes dry crunch and ... Gerber baby meats (preferably turkey but beef works every now and again). I think of it as an investment in keep her healthy.
ReplyDeleteI had troll dolls when I was in elementary school. They were pretty cool with their brightly colored hair. Never heard of putting them in the freezer, however. I never wore moccasins, but wish I could. Need the arch support now too. Oreos must me twisted open and eat the filling first, then the cookie. I don't dunk...don't like milk. Only played golf once...this past week! I just putted at the holes...and the rest of the time I watched the wildlife. But my friends knew that is what I would do and they were okay with that. We had fun anyway.
ReplyDeleteI very seldom have mood swings either. It must be the power of Christ because He helps me see what's worth being concerned about and what's not.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your answers. Hope your day is blessed. ~:)
Heck, I was disappointed the (song) prompt playing in my head wasn't the same one B.J. Thomas popularized (Hooked on a Feeling).
ReplyDeleteI'd totally forgotten those adorable troll dolls! Golf? At least you graduated onto the actual course! I'll never understand it's popularity. (...sez the Uncoordinated One.)
OK, that came out totally wrong! I meant to say, Timberlake's song wasn't the one I remembered and loved that BJ Thomas did.
DeleteTerri, what interesting questions! I saw a commercial for the movie Trolls and it's not my kind of movie. Now Oreos! My kind of cookie! :-)
