I don't have many new photos but will share a few here...
I found this 'in color' map of the Tenoroc Public Use Area and had to take a photo of it so I could have it with me all the time. I have been taken around the property quite a few times but still don't feel like I want to head out on my own. It always seems turned around to me so this map was like a light going on in my head!! Hard to see here, but I am stoked!!
I saw Helen yesterday, after work. They told me that she got a shower that morning and was feeling kind of feisty. They had just finished lunch and she was still in the dining room. I tried to take her on a walk in her wheelchair but she wasn't having it. She wanted to go right back to the dining room and then, the only words that went together and made sense... "...it takes a long time to be served". And lunch was just over so there was quite a wait for dinner. I stayed 20-25 minutes and then went to the grocery for a few things.
The weather, here and everywhere, is sweltering. At 5:01 the "feels like" temp was 102*. Ugh.
Thursday night was the Mas Verde out-to-eat night. We tried a new Mexican restaurant that took over the space where our old Ruby Tuesday was. Plaza Mexico. It was okay. The service was good, the decor was really nice, and the menu was huge. It was a bit pricey and I still think Tapatio is better. I'm glad we went, though. They were busy.
Ant this pretty fountain was in the front courtyard. Very nice.
Today, after work, I am meeting my friend Shirley for lunch at Glory Days. We try to get together once a month. I'm looking forward to it. After that, I am going to Publix to get my second booster shot. I have no plans for the weekend, so if I have a reaction I will have a couple of days to recover. I'm not expecting a reaction since none of the previous jabs caused more than a sore arm for a day (like a flu shot). That's all I have!! Wishing you all a good weekend!!
Peace & hugs!
Blessed Assurance, Jesus Is Mine!!
