Monday's Weekend Recap...

These weekend recaps are going to get boring real fast if the quarantine lasts much longer!

Our cat, Vinny, is showing us what to do...

On Friday afternoon, I had physical therapy.  There were only three patients and three therapists in the therapy room, which is pretty big.  The waiting area was empty with only one scheduler working.  They haven't canceled any appointments yet. I already got my reminder for tomorrow's appointment.

Saturday evening, Helen and Cheryl invited us over for carry-out from Burger 21.  We are careful, used plastic and paper, and didn't hug.  None of us are sick, but there is that 14-day possible incubation period.  None of us have any business taking chances. Helen is 92 this month, Cheryl and Joe have new heart valves, Joe is diabetic with COPD...  Our burgers were good and we had a nice visit.

Sunday found us "at church" in our PJs!!  Redeemer live-streamed services on Facebook.  It was interesting and something we will be doing for at least three more weeks.  It would sure be nice to be able to come together again for Easter services.  Time will tell.

Joe doesn't care for talent shows on TV.  We used to watch American Idol when it first came on TV years and years ago.  He just got tired of it so we don't watch anymore... until this year.  A Lakeland girl is still going through so we have just been watching on the nights Kimmy Gabriela is singing.  She was on last night and made it through. We are excited for her!!  Here she is for her first performance...

Today I have a chiropractor appointment at 10:00.  I get on a decompression bed for 35 minutes.  It sure feels good.  Lots of sanitizers used.  Physical therapy is tomorrow.  I still have moments of pain but the time between is getting longer.  Something is working. Strengthening knee, hip, and core muscles will help me be stronger with my second knee surgery in May (if it doesn't get canceled).

I posted this on Facebook over the weekend, so many of you have seen it already, but I am proud of my nephew, Mike, who is now Dr. Mike and is headed for his 4-year residency in Pennsylvania.  My brother died when Mike was just 10 years old.  Randy would be so proud of Mike (and daughter Sara, who is working on her Ph.D. and wants to teach on the college level).  Good 'kids'.  Jo Anne has done an amazing job as a single mom all these years.  She just retired from teaching after the last school year.

That's it for today! Thanks for your visit today!

Peace & hugs!  Relax! God is in control!!
