Just four questions weekly
Future Ahead...
Welcome to Tuesday 4 in memory of Toni Taddeo.
This week we have some questions from Pamela Steiner once again.
I hope you enjoy them.
1. Let's pretend that it is 50 years into the future, and explorers have just discovered your house, "frozen in time" exactly as it is today. Everything is preserved, even the food, but of course, no one has lived there for fifty years. What do you think would be their first reaction as they walk in the door of your house? Recliners in front of the TV... more slugs!!
2. What would the things left in your house tell the explorers about you? That we were comfortable and kept a full pantry.
3. What kinds of books would they discover on your bookshelves or beside your chair/bed? Since most of my books are on my Kindle now, my bookshelves have art books, craft books, and religious books. My Kindle and my Bible would be by the bed.
4. What things would they discover in your closets or cabinets that would make them wonder why on earth you were saving it? Purses! How many purses does one woman need?!!! (Joe used to say "curses, purses" when we were shopping and I found the section with purses!)
Thanks, Pam for more great questions!
Great answers, Terri!! Curses, Purses! LOL. I will have to remember that about you! So funny. I hate to change purses or buy a new one. I carry too much stuff as it is, and to change it becomes a real "project". LOL. Thanks for playing along today. Now everytime I see a purse section in a store I will be thinking of "curses, purses!" LOL.
ReplyDeleteLOL at the curses purses.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
I can't think of much that beats comfort and a full pantry! That's so cute about, "Curses, purses." You and my mother! Me? chagringed, glancing over at the purse I've been carrying now since 1980-something.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!
Oh, how many times have I taken a big bag of purses to Good Will?!!! The search for the perfect purse seems to be common with many of us women. I'm right there with you on that one, in particular.
ReplyDeleteI have a bunch of purses too. Hey, I "need" them! The shoes and the purse have to match. *lol*
ReplyDeleteAs always, enjoyed your answers.
Blessings my friend. xx
Curses, purses! I love that one, Terri! If an explorer visited our home in 50 years, he or she would also encounter a full pantry, a full fridge and shelves stuffed with books.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I also have a purse section! No shoes just puses. Also craft supplies and lots of books. Great answers today.
ReplyDeleteMade me laugh with that "curses purses"! I think your house sounds very comfy!
ReplyDeleteI love the phrase curses purses!
ReplyDeleteHa! Your last thought made me laugh. I feel the same about purses. Bob thinks I have too many shoes too!
ReplyDelete#1 made me laugh so hard. Ya know...I have never been that into purses. I think that is so weird. Maybe I will be one day. Loved your answers! Have a nice week!
