Sunday Stealing....

Would You Rather Meme

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.
Cheers to all of us thieves!!!

Thanks to Quizgiver for another fun Sunday Stealing!!  You can join in HERE.

We called my grandmother on Friday, to say happy 96th birthday!  Some of the family had been there for a little party.  She said they had pizza!  Her niece posted pictures of her on Facebook.  We sent her flowers, which are the ones she is holding.  This is my step-grandma, but she has been my grandma since I was born.  She was quite a bit younger than my grandpa, and really could not be my biological grandma, but none of that has ever mattered.  She is a wonderful woman and the love-lines are just as strong as any bloodlines.  My folks are gone, but I still have my grandma!

It felt so good to go to our church last night.  We always go to the Saturday Vigil Mass.  Several people were concerned that we had been sick.  It was nice to be missed.

Our swimming pool has turned green.  With all the rain these past few days, the algae bloom is awful.  Our neighbors are fighting the same, and when Joe went to our pool supply place yesterday, for chemicals, he said it was crowded with lots of people seeking the same chemicals. Maybe I'll be able to get in later this week.  The joys of having a pool....

Thanks for coming by today!  Wishing you a great Sunday and week ahead.  Peace & hugs.

  1. Sounds like you Grandmother had a nice birthday. She looks awesome for 96.
I have never had a pool but I can imagine the upkeep is a lot.
    Enjoy your day!

  2. What a lovely birthday your grandmother had. Enjoyed your answers, I am afraid though, I do not like calamari and I happen to open my mouth way to many times, wink. Have a lovely Sunday, looks like storms here. Blessings

  3. Only the brave have been to the swimming pool this weekend. Anyway, I hope you will be able to use yours soon. I'm glad you got to talk to your grandma for her birthday. Although I don't remember calling her that, my mother said I used to call one of the young neighbours mamaw when I was a toddler. I'm also glad you're answering the questions and not me. I'd be indecisive about quite a few of them! Enjoy your Sunday.

  5. A lovely grandmother you have, and I know she had a special birthday. I would say we agree on about 50/50 of today's questions. The pool.....we had one when we lived on the farm and it is full time work, for sure, but the kids grew up loving to be in it, so it was worth the effort. Hugs

  6. Hi Terri!
So nice to have you stop by my blog so I could get to know you. New blogger friends are like sunshine! ;)

Love this post - fun to read the "would you rather's" and the photos of your Grandma are adorable. What a Doll.

I envy your swimming pool talk. Sounds wonderful and probably well used down where you live! ;)

    Happy Sunday to you. xo

  7. Your grandma is so cute!
I liked your answers and would answer the same for most, except I would much rather talk than text. And no octopus or cow tongue for me!

  8. I've come across so many vibrant 90-something women in the past few years. I hope I get to be one of them.

I feel your pain about the rain. We've had so much damp, rainy weather and it's hard to keep up with things at Anthony and Lori's place. Things are turning into a jungle!!
