1. What memories does September bring back to you of school, autumn, songs, movies? Would you share them with us? In Ohio when I was in school, we started class the Tuesday after Labor Day weekend. In my home town, Labor Day Weekend meant our town's Sweet Corn Festival!! Great memories!
2. September is the first of what are called the "ber" months. and the end of summer and beginning of autumn. Which do you enjoy more, summer or autumn and why? Here in Florida, we all look forward to cooler days and nights in the Fall.
3. Have you ever gone apple or pumpkin picking or gone into a corn maze? What was that like? I have never done a corn maze but my dad raised pumpkins in our garden. I don't pick apples but a good apple orchard is the one and only thing I miss here in Florida. I loved going to the orchard in the Fall. Fresh cider, good Cortland apples bigger than your fist, apple butter.... yum!!
4. Are fall weekends different for you than summer weekends? What do you enjoy in autumn? Not different now that I am retired and living in Florida. We have six Saturdays and a Sunday every week. We enjoy cooler temps and less humidity.
