Good golly! How is it Friday already?
Elaine sent a message that they arrived home safely yesterday afternoon. Praise God!! Bella is very happy to be back home and in her own backyard again. I am sure Elaine and Jim are happy to be back in their own beds. I miss them, though. They bless my life so much!!
I have no new photos from the end of this week. I spent yesterday doing some laundry and got some cleaning done. Last night, the Mas Verde dinner group went to Il Forno for dinner. I had spaghetti and meat sauce. Always good! There were six of us.
There is nothing on my calendar today or on Saturday. I need to buy paint. Jim generously offered to help, but I am happy to have the painting project ahead. I didn't buy paint on purpose while they were here. It's time to get that done and take my time painting. The guest bathroom first, then the kitchen, and my bathroom last. All the same color. No hurry!
The last Saturday of February was always Gala Night at the museum where I used to work. Google Photos keeps popping up memories, so I will share a few here. Gala was always fun and was one of Lakeland's premier nights. It also raised a lot of money for the museum. I kind of miss it, and most of all, the fun Joe and I had getting dressed up for a night out.
I love all the pretty dresses/outfits you wore to the gala(s), Terri. I am glad your friends arrived home safely. Have a beautiful day my friend.
ReplyDeleteYou and Joe look so nice in all the photos. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteGlad Elaine and Jim are safely home!
ReplyDeleteI remember Gala night. I really enjoyed seeing those pics of you two again.
I love these photos of Joe and you all dressed up for the Gala. What a handsome couple! Blessings, Terri!
ReplyDeleteI love all those photos of you and Joe dressed in your gala attire! Such a handsome couple!! You looked spectacular! I know those are special memories, and I'm glad you shared the pictures with us! Now back to the old clothes and paint rags as you prepare to paint your bathroom and kitchen, etc. I hope you will take time and also every precaution about climbing up and down, etc. PLEASE be careful!! I know you will. We will look forward to the before and after photos, so don't forget to take them! Have a blessed and wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it nice to have something to look forward to -- even if it is a project. I always loved seeing these images of you and Joe in evening wear ... simply stunning!
