Friday Fotos Friends...

I know most of us are still counting our blessings after a good Thanksgiving Day.  It is one for the record books, like everything else in this crazy year.

I also have to mention what most of you read about yesterday if you are connected with Barbara at Sweet Tea and Sandals.  Her Beloved passed away on Wednesday from his three-week fight with COVID. She and her sweet family have been on my mind and in my heart and prayers.

We went to the farm (Joe's client) on Wednesday. There were no cattle going in, but you will see a few on our way out...

That view and that sky!

Doc & Majesty

Vanna was WAY over there in the pasture and she didn't feel like walking to me.

Majesty

Roho got his treats and then stayed under the picnic table while I read.

Granddaughter Gabi was home from college with her sweet dog, Bodhi. He got a treat too!

Cattle ahead on our way out...

Publix was out of pumpkin pies so I made one.  It was good, thank goodness!

Not real fancy for just the four of us. I used our everyday Correll Wear dishes.

And here we are, Helen's niece Cheryl, Joe at the end, and our sweet friend, Helen.  She ate like a champion!!  I sent leftovers home with them. Cheryl said their church dropped by with a plate full of food yesterday so they will eat good for a couple of days.

.I am happy for a quiet weekend ahead with plenty of leftovers! And all the dishes are done!

Peace & hugs!  Jesus loves you!

  2. Yes, this Thanksgiving is one for the record books. One like I have never spent, but I felt so grateful in spite of it. I enjoyed your pictures and your table is lovely and I am glad that you got to spend it with friends.

  3. I'm glad you had a nice Thanksgiving with friends. It's amazing the amount of time for prep and cleanup compared with the short time it takes to eat it. Lol. I always love your farm photos! Have a blessed day, Terri.

  4. Good for you, Terri, making a homemade pumpkin pie! And with you, I am grieving for Barbara and her family at this time, and praying mightily for them.

  7. Always enjoy pictures from the farm! It's so wonderful that you were able to share your Thanksgiving with dear friends, you are blessed. My daughter cooked for Mr D and I, there's enough for leftovers, yummy!

  8. While small in number, it looks like yours was a wonderful Thanksgiving! Wish I might taste your pie. I only allow myself one slice a year -- which is usually enough -- but the one they served yesterday was a big disappointment.

  10. Where do you find those cute avatar pictures? That is so funny! I know exactly how that feels too...dishes...and all the cooking beforehand...John said next year we will go out to eat, but I know we won't. We like being at home and visiting too much. Yes, my heart is still so heavy for Barbara and her family. But I know God is with them and He is carrying her through these days. It will hit her later when all have gone home and she has to face her first days really feeling alone. Praying God will sustain her and keep her close. I know she will do fine, but still... Loved your pictures of the horses and doggies and cows, etc. I always enjoy seeing the farm. And love your Thanksgiving pictures too. Glad it was a quiet day but still so meaningful, especially for your dear friends. They are blessed to have you and Joe. Take care now, and relax...except now we need to get ready for Christmas! One day at a time! God bless you both.

    1. Last year, we said we were going out this year, but here we are with half the turkey in the fridge! It just isn't the same. We have gone out in years past and I still have to roast a turkey for leftovers! The avatars are from bitmoji.com. Go there and create your avatar and then you can use them in blogging, emails, texts, etc. One day at a time, always!! xo
