The Tuesday 4...

I worked all by myself yesterday while all the guys got the day off.  No big deal, other than it would have been nice to have a long weekend.  Part-timers have no benefits with the State of Florida. Bah-humbug.

My son, Joe, got home from nine months in the middle east this past weekend!!  I haven't talked with him yet (maybe tonight, as I write this on Monday evening) but we have texted.  It's a big transition with the seven hour difference in time and just getting back home with trunks full of everything he had over there.  I'm sure I'll see him sometime in the next weeks.  Hopefully Darlene can get away too!!

Now, on to Annie's Tuesday 4...

Planning

Hey.  Bathroom fixing is taking up a lot of time but there is always time for Tuesday 4.

Let's do some planning....

1. What is something you have always wanted to do?  Play piano.  When will you do it?  Probably not happening now.  No piano and the motivation is lacking.

2. Friends are coming to town to visit you. What arrangements will you make and what sights do you think you would take them to see?  I will get in plenty of food and beverages, make up the beds, clean the bathroom and guest rooms (which don't get much attention unless someone is coming) and welcome them with open arms.  There are many things to see and do so it would depend on what they have in mind and what they have already seen.  Lakeland is close to everything and we have lots to do right HERE.

3. It's time to relax after a busy Tuesday. What sounds good for tonight? A movie? Which one? A book? Early to bed?  I go to bed around 9:00 on work nights but have been streaming things on Acorn TV and Discovery+.  Barnwood Builders is a favorite.

4. Plan something for this weekend that includes going out or having people in.  My weekends are usually pretty chill.  I go out for dinner with friends on Thursdays and have lunch with Shirley this Friday.  Other than church on Sunday and getting laundry done, I am happy to slug-out with no plans.  Of course, having family and friends here is always a plus and lots of fun, any time.

Peace and Hugs!
