Wednesday's Hodgepodge....

Thanks to our hostess, Joyce, for this week's questions!  We provide our answers and then link up with other Hodgepodgers HERE.  Join in the fun!

Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 308

1. What color is prominent in your home? Are you glad about that or wishing you could cover it up or remove it?   Our new-to-us home has very neutral walls, but I LOVE the paprika drapes in the living room and the cadmium yellow curtains in the kitchen.  Accents are navy, burgundy, paprika, browns and yellows.

2. What's something you'll NEVER do again?  Dare I say MOVE?  LOL

3. Tell us a couple of ways you fit the stereotypes associated with your gender, and a couple of ways you don't. You know, I really don't recognize stereotypes. I had to really think about this one.  What stereotypes are we supposed to compare to?  I am woman, hear me roar.....LOL

4. May is Motorcycle Awareness Month. Have you ever owned a motorcycle?  No!   Ever ridden a motorcycle?  Not unless a very brief ride on my brother's counts.  If the opportunity presented itself would you hop on a motorcycle and go for a ride?  Not for a minute.  My cousin was an ER nurse and she calls them donorcycles.

5. If someone wanted to understand you, what should they read, watch, and listen to?  Watch The Waltons.  Family values, faith, hard decisions, unconditional love, being so very blessed by God's Grace and Mercy, making do with what you have..... Listen to oldies from the 60s...I'm that old.  Read any good historical novel or murder mystery because that is my entertainment.

6.  Insert your own random thought here.  We leave earlier than early tomorrow for our trip up to Pittsburgh for our nephew's wedding.  We are so excited for this reunion and happy occasion.  Nick's mom is our niece, Linda, who is daughter#1 of Joe's older brother, Lou.  Follow that?  Here is the happy couple (borrowed from Nick's Facebook page)....

We ask for your prayers for safe travels please and also that our cats will be good for their new sitter, Mary Jane.  We are driving to our son's in Georgia and then he takes over for the rest of the trip.  Sure am happy to only have the first short leg of the journey as my responsibility! I will be off the grid until we return.  I'll check in as I can and may or may not post...but there will be pictures next week!!

Thanks for your visit!  Thanks for your prayers!  Peace & hugs.
